99.9 Voice FM  – The Voice of Ballarat… We’re Different!

We hope that you will enjoy your visit to our website.

You can read more about Ballarat’s Own Community Radio station at our About page.  As you will see this is very brief and we will look forward to adding more about our history and our people.

Because of our new website we are able to provide our newsletter online via a newsletter subscription page, please go to the newsletter page to subscribe and start receiving Voice FM newsletters and updates.

All of Our Shows now have their own page.  We will add an overall program guide soon.  Our presenters will be able to expand their engagement with their audience.

The Gig Guide now is an Events page that lists Community Events and has separate sections for Exhibitions, Live Music, Performance/Shows and Regular Spots.

The Community page is growing with sites that we use to source information as well as the groups that send their details through to us for broadcast.

Online Streaming Coming Soon!

Voice FM is getting very close to streaming online, we’ve got to make a few preparations at the station to enable such an exciting service. Within the next few weeks we’ll be launching the online stream so you, your friends or family can listen to us anywhere in the world!

Community Broadcasting Foundation Our station is very appreciative of the opportunity to apply for grants from the CBF.  Many of our Ethnic programs receive funding.  Our RPH program received seed funding in the early days.  Thanks to a General Grant we have been able to improve our signal strength with new transmission equipment.  As a Community Station run by an amazing team of volunteers, the grants are instrumental in ensuring financial viability.

We are a proud member of SCMA.  As any member of the SCMA knows they are only a phone call away for assistance and advice about any issue related to Community Broadcasting. The SCMA provide Voice FM with essential support because of their network of like minded stations.
