Voice FM Welcomes visitors to Ballarat and the Central Highlands Region.

We hope that you will enjoy your visit to our website.|
You can read more about Ballarat’s Own Community Radio station at our About page.  As you will see this is very brief and we will look forward to adding more about our history and our people.
If you have skills with compiling “Newsletters” we’d love you to get in touch and join our team of volunteers.
Most of Our Shows have their own page and we are working on changes to include all.  The overall program guide will soon have links to the Show Page.  Our presenters are working on expanding their engagement with their audience.
The Gig Guide is an Events page that lists Community Events and has separate sections for Exhibitions, Live Music, Performance/Shows and Regular Spots.  The “This Week” page combines all events for that week and we encourage you to scroll down to the current date for events that may only be for a short period rather than a Regular event over a longer time period.
The Community page is growing with sites that we use to source information as well as the groups that send their details through to us for broadcast.

Community Broadcasting Foundation Our station is very appreciative of the opportunity to apply for grants from the CBF.  Many of our Ethnic programs receive funding.  Our RPH program received seed funding in the early days.  Thanks to General Grants we have been able to improve our signal strength with new transmission equipment and upgrade our main studio with a new mixer desk.  As a Community Station run by an amazing team of volunteers, the grants are instrumental in ensuring financial viability.

We are a proud member of SCMA.  As any member of the SCMA knows they are only a phone call away for assistance and advice about any issue related to Community Broadcasting. The SCMA provide Voice FM with essential support because of their network of like minded stations.
