Sunday 26 October St Paul’s Anglican Church in Clunes, an excellent example of Victorian gothic revival design, an architectural movement begun in the late 1740s in England, is holding a musical recital to raise funds to restore its heritage organ. Organist at the church and 2014 Balhausen Organ Scholar, Dylan Quinlan-Baskett, has brought together an eclectic group of musicians and composers to delight lovers of exquisite music for a fundraising concert to raise money to restore St Paul’s heritage church organ. Besides hearing Dylan on the church’s fine pipe organ, one of only two in the world with a national classification, other musicians include Greg Ellsmore Melbourne Church organist, Nigel Smith Cellist, Caroline Ellsmore Melbourne Conservatorium Doctoral student and Ballarat Grammar School Clarinet Ensemble.
