Corangamite Shire together with Business Victoria are inviting new and existing business’s to attend the Business Planning Basics seminar on Wednesday 1 August.
Economic development officer, Sara Napier, encouraged people to attend to hear Merv Neal talk about setting a business up for success.
“Everyone wants their business to prosper, grow and succeed and it takes creativity, discipline, energy and planning to make that happen,” Mrs Napier said.
“This seminar is invaluable to both existing small business owners and those starting out who want a clear direction for the business and strategies for achieving objectives,” she said.
Mr Neal has more than 30 years experience in owning and managing his own companies and his “unique” presentations and workshops are based on the 1 Page Business Plan and The Balanced Scorecard.
Mrs Napier said both the Plan and Scorecard have been designed for the Small to Medium Enterprise market to enable them to develop and manage change.
“Attendees will receive a detailed workbook, easy-to-use templates and the opportunity to meet, network and interact with like-minded people in a variety of industries,” she said.
