Voice FM has had a lot of people asking for a program to feature local Metal bands. There have been a number of attempts at this program and for various reasons they have not continued.
Goonsack Neddy has joined our team of volunteers and is keen to work through production of a program to fill the gap. Besides local bands we’ve had good chats with the team at Roadrunner Records who are going to help with supplying music for this program and Beats of Ballarat Magazine have also registered there support.
Amrap AirIT will also be used to source Australian artists in addition to the monthly mail out of cds to the station.
Naturally, if you’re a local Metal band and you don’t know Goonsack Neddy, then get in contact with the station and let us know who you are.
The program will feature interviews, gig guide and reviews.
But from the man who knows – the program will feature Metal, Extreme Metal, Dark Ambient, Avantgarde, Noise Artists as well as local bands.
