Sen Conroy visits Ballarat in next stage of Digital Switchover

Ballarat’s Bridge Mall was set up for Sen Conroy to push the importance of people getting ready for the switch to digital TV in areas of regional Victoria on Thursday 5 May 2011. Factsheets, brochures and balloons were readily available along with pens and wristbands.
Helen Bath from Voice FM was able to chat with the Senator as he explained that every method possible was being used to ensure that people were aware of how they can get ready. The Australian Government has established the:

- Household Assistance Scheme
