Community Visitors Scheme (CVS)

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a national program funded by the Australian Government.  The CVS aims to enrich the quality of life of residents of aged care homes who are socially isolated or lonely, and would benefit from a friendly visitor.  CVS also helps to establish links between people living in aged care homes in their local community.
Do you have a spare hour each fortnight?  CVS is looking for volunteers to visit a resident in aged care facilities in Ballarat and Ballan.  Volunteers are matched individually with a resident, the day and time is flexible.  Training and support is provided.
